Newflash 1-1-2000
Dear Readers,
Just a quickie really to wish you all a very Happy New Millennium! (I've put a funny version called "read this" in the forum!) Hope you had a fab time last night.

Steve, thanks for the new list of countries that are included in "get paid to surf"... and for pointing out that my guestbook
has been Y2K buggered!! Luckily I out-source it, so they'll have to fix it rather than me!

OK, that's this quickie over. Below is this week's usual Dear Readers.

P.

Dear Readers,

OK so the new look welcome page has proved to be popular. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. Glad you like the changes. December has proved to be a bumper month with 8,717 visitors. I say an extended welcome to all the new visitors, and a big welcome back to all the returning regulars. I've had 47,116 visitors since February 1999, which is kinda cool. When I was at high school I published a school magazine; we sold 300 copies. I thought that was really good.

I was hoping to launch another new section this week - but surprise surprise it hasn't happened. Life: it's so time consuming. I should give the new section a name. I haven't decided on a name yet. What could I call it? I've been toying with the names opinionatedP and ramblingP. I'll call it opinionatedP for now. I would love to say it's going to be launched next week, but it's already 2 weeks behind schedule, and I'm going to be very busy in January. I've fallen behind with my e-mails too. There are 70+ unanswered e-mails in the inbox. I'm not going to get the time to reply, so if I can say a big thank you to people who wrote, but didn't get a reply - how rude!!!(wahoopala).

Natalie has now started writing her new piece for the nonP section. Feel free to write to her to encourage her to finish it. I forgot to mention that over 1000 people have now answered the sex-survey I ran. I had told myself I'd remove the survey once it got to 1000. So its days are numbered - you can look at the results by clicking on it, and then clicking again, in small near the top, where it says "results" or something similar.

Thank you to Steve for the links to the web counters. Next question: Does anyone know of a free guestbook (without too many adverts) that numbers each entry, and also displays all entries on a single page?

And before I forget; on request: hello to Dean (Lee's brother)

OK, I'm off - I wish you all a very Happy New Year.

P.
