Dear Readers 6
Dear Readers,
Well what a week. As you must be aware, I'm having
some major problems with the links site I launched 10 days ago.
It's currently not working at all - but hopefully I will have a
working version up by the end of Friday 28th.
As for this (thatP.com) site, there was a domain
conflict on the SoNow servers, and it didn't work for 24 hours or
so. So sorry to all of you who might have tried to access it then.
Luckily my-trusty-beta-testerHugh pointed it out to me, and I got
onto the guys at SoNow.
I've thought about this week's diary
update, and realise that I come across as being really smug.
I was just feeling very good about myself. Please remember that
although I do publish my diary, I write it for myself, and therefore
feel able to say things in a way that I would not, were I to be
in a social situation - or talking to friends. That might sound
strange, or two-faced, but I think it's true for most people. When
you're talking to yourself, or thinking to yourself, you're more
likely to say things that you wouldn't say to others. When you're
annoyed, you might say "I wish so-and-so were dead", but you don't
mean it, and wouldn't say it to them or others. So that's the reason
you're going to think I'm an arrogant shit when you read this week's
update. There, end of disclaimer.
Now for a quick request. I know full well some of you are going
to be tempted to write to me about the sex thing I talk about briefly
at the end (shit, now that I've said that, you're all going to skip
to the end, and not bother reading the rest). Anyway, if you do
feel compelled to write, then please don't write something too general.
Be specific, and use personal examples. I don't want generic "only
do what you want to do. Have self-respect" type stuff. I know that
already, and it doesn't help. Not that I am asking for help - but
naturally if you have something that you think might help me, then
it's always very much appreciated.
I'm dead tired, so perhaps that explains the
tone of this and this week's update - so I'd better go to bed, and
have a good night's sleep.
