Your party sounded great, P. Pity my invitation got lost in the post, though - it still hasn't arrived.
Real cocktails? How delightfully old-fashioned. I remember cocktail parties in deepest Wiltshire in the early 60s. Wow! People totally bombed, lurching into their hosts' antique furniture and spilling drinks down each other, insulting each other and being blissfully oblivious of the fact the next morning, finally falling into their cars and yawing their way home, leaving ruts in the verge first on one side of the road, then on the other. Luckily (for everyone else) the rural cocktail party perished the moment they introduced the drink-driving law.
Hope Morocco is fun (or rather, was, by the time you read this). From my limited experience it will be (or will have been). Mind you tell us about it (every detail!). I'll be in CA and Hawaii over the end of the month. Catch up with you after that, if not before.
Love
Alex.
