I've just spent the last hour reading your two stories on coming out at school and your summer holiday. I must admit that I was nearly in tears with your coming out story.
I never had a relationship with a girl at all during my school or university years, but then I never had one with a guy either. I sort of wondered if I was gay, but didn't know anybody gay and did nothing about it.
Finally at the age of 32 I admitted to myself I was gay after reading a lot of stuff on the web, visiting a lot of websites and chat rooms. I also set up my own website to which 99% of the visitors are gay, so it sort of confirmed things for me.
A few months later i had my first "encounter" with a guy I'd met through my website and haven't looked back!
It took me a year to come out to my friends and colleagues at work, but now everybody knows ... except my parents! I guess having reached nearly 36 without telling them that makes it more difficult, but I love them too much to continue living a lie. I've got to tell them soon.
Luv
Chris
